The TeamGiant TLP12F2A8-20Ah combines a 20Ah nominal capacity with 40A continuous charge and discharge ratings in a compact aluminum-laminated pouch format. Its 3.2V platform, low specified AC impedance and documented cycle-retention targets make it a practical building block for engineered mobility, industrial and energy-storage battery systems. Electrical limits, tab joining, mechanical support, thermal control and protection must be validated at pack level.
At 3.2V and 20.0Ah, the cell provides approximately 64Wh of nominal energy by calculation. The datasheet distinguishes 20.0Ah when discharged to 2.0V from 19.5Ah when discharged to the normal 2.5V cutoff, giving system designers a clear basis for conservative usable-energy estimates and pack configuration decisions.
The aluminum-plastic-film pouch measures up to 12.5 × 152 × 108mm before shipment and weighs 380 ± 20g. Wide 25.0mm tabs support pack-level interconnection, while the flat format can simplify modular layouts when suitable compression, edge protection, insulation and swelling allowance are engineered into the enclosure.
A maximum continuous discharge current of 40A, equivalent to 2C, supports power-oriented assemblies without overstating pulse capability. The specified standard charge and discharge current is 20A. System current limits should still account for temperature, conductor sizing, tab joints, cell matching, cooling and the intended service life.
The cell accepts a maximum charge current of 40A and uses a 3.65V CC-CV charge limit. The datasheet defines reduced charging below 10°C: 0.2C from 0–5°C and 0.5C from 5–10°C, both to 3.5V. Charging outside the documented temperature and current conditions requires manufacturer-level validation.
Specified AC impedance is no more than 1.5mΩ at 1kHz and 10% SOC. The operating window is 0–45°C for charging and −20–60°C for discharge. These figures help guide BMS calibration and thermal architecture, but actual pack performance depends on contact resistance, cell consistency and installation conditions.
Under the stated 25 ± 2°C, 1C charge and 1C discharge cycle test, capacity retention is specified at at least 85% after 1,000 cycles and at least 70% after 2,000 cycles. These are test-condition targets rather than an unconditional service-life guarantee; actual results vary with depth of discharge, temperature and pack controls.
Custom battery pack applications: Suitable engineered applications may include light electric mobility, industrial equipment, backup-power modules and custom energy-storage assemblies. Misenpower supplies genuine cells and supports custom battery-pack integration, including the BMS, fuse, welded tab interconnects, voltage and temperature sensing, electrical insulation, cell spacing, mechanical support and thermal design. The source datasheet states that product parts comply with RoHS requirements; applicable CE, UN38.3 and UL documentation or status must be confirmed for the selected production lot and finished pack.
