The Misen E889 3.7V 88.9Ah lithium-ion pouch cell is designed for electric buses, electric trucks, mining vehicles, industrial battery systems and energy storage applications. Its slim aluminum-laminate structure, high volumetric energy density and short-duration high-current capability support compact, high-energy battery module integration.
The rechargeable E889 pouch cell provides a nominal voltage of 3.7V and a rated capacity of 88.9Ah. Its large single-cell capacity is suitable for customized traction batteries, industrial power systems and high-energy battery modules.
Each cell provides 331.6Wh of nominal energy and a volumetric energy density of 656Wh/L. This high energy density helps pack designers achieve greater usable energy in a slim enclosure while reducing unnecessary module volume.
Maximum discharge current reaches 550A for 10 seconds, while maximum charge current reaches 350A for 5 seconds at 50% SOC and 25°C. These are short-duration ratings for acceleration, load peaks and other high-power operating conditions.
Internal resistance is specified at 1.4mΩ under the stated SOC and temperature conditions. Low resistance helps limit voltage drop, heat generation and energy loss during high-current operation when paired with suitable tab connections, busbars and cooling.
Under the specified test conditions, the E889 supports charging from 11.4% to 77.2% SOC in approximately 30 minutes at 35°C. Actual pack-level charging performance depends on the charger, BMS, cell temperature and thermal-management system.
The cell measures approximately 452 × 113 × 9.9mm and weighs 1150.6 ± 18g. Its aluminum-laminate pouch body and flat tabs at opposite ends require suitable insulation, tab support, mechanical restraint and protection from bending or puncture.
Custom battery module applications: The Misen E889 pouch cell can be integrated into electric bus batteries, electric truck batteries, mining and construction vehicle batteries, industrial power systems and energy storage modules. A complete battery pack requires a compatible BMS, fuse, contactor, busbars, insulation, temperature sensing, thermal management and secure mechanical support. Continuous-current limits and final pack performance should be verified through sample testing under the intended operating conditions.
