The EVE M21-V1.2 is a 3.73V 59Ah rechargeable prismatic lithium-ion cell for professionally engineered high-power battery systems. It combines 220Wh minimum energy at the 1/3C test rate with low internal resistance, temperature-dependent current capability and verified cycle performance. Each cell requires suitable electrical protection, thermal management, compression and mechanical support at module and pack level.
The manufacturer specifies 59Ah capacity with a 0/+4Ah tolerance when tested at 1/3C between 4.3V and 2.8V at 25±2°C. At the higher 1C discharge rate, capacity is specified as 58Ah with the same tolerance. These separate values provide a more accurate basis for pack sizing under different load conditions.
At the 1/3C test rate, the M21-V1.2 delivers at least 220Wh from one compact prismatic cell. Its approximately 148.66 × 26.72 × 99.21mm external envelope and 880.1±15g weight support space-efficient module layouts. Cell thickness must be evaluated under the manufacturer’s defined SOC and compression conditions.
At 25°C and 50% SOC, the manufacturer’s operating-limit table specifies a 195A continuous discharge limit and a 304A limit for 60 seconds. Available current decreases as cell temperature falls or approaches the upper operating boundary. The pack BMS must therefore apply temperature- and SOC-dependent current limits instead of relying on one fixed rating.
Standard charging uses 19.7A CC-CV charging to 4.3V with a 2.9A cut-off at 25±2°C. The datasheet also states a 10-80% SOC fast-charge time of no more than 30 minutes at 35°C, although the full fast-charge current profile is not published and must be confirmed before pack programming.
AC internal resistance is specified at 0.62±0.10mΩ under a 1kHz measurement at 30% SOC. DC resistance is limited to 1.4mΩ at 25°C and 50% SOC using a 2C, ten-second test. These controlled values help engineers estimate voltage sag, heat generation and power delivery under defined pack operating conditions.
EVE specifies at least 80% remaining capacity after 1,500 cycles at 25±2°C. The cycle test uses 0.5C CC-CV charging to 4.3V, 0.5C discharging to 2.8V and 30-minute rest periods. Actual service life will vary with temperature, charge voltage, discharge depth, current demand, compression and the selected SOC operating window.
Custom battery pack applications: The EVE M21-V1.2 can support professionally engineered EV, electric motorcycle, commercial mobility, AGV, robotics and high-power energy-storage systems. MisenBattery supplies matched cells and supports custom module and pack integration, including BMS programming, pack fuses, voltage and temperature sensing, electrical insulation, cell spacing, compression structures, thermal management and validated welded interconnects where approved. Direct welding to the cell casing is prohibited. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided where applicable to the selected cell, pack configuration and shipment.
